Maahi Johar is a 12th-grade student at Welham Girls’ School, Dehradun, where she studies English, Mathematics, Psychology, Economics, and Political Science. She believes that the answer to all questions that are required to solve the mystery of humanity lies within the pages of psychology, and aims to use her learnings to create a better tomorrow. Outside the classroom, Maahi can be found diligently practicing and performing Kathak, experimenting with the numerous possibilities of visual art, singing and playing the drums, playing basketball, giving back to the community in all possible ways, and reading and writing about social psychology.
Mayna Johar is a 12th-grade student at Welham Girls’ School, Dehradun. With a deep interest in the endless possibilities of psychology, Mayna hopes to work towards creating equitable spaces for all, regardless of their identity, and views psychology as the treasure trove that can facilitate her goals. She believes that the most meaningful way to inhabit the world today is by undertaking a constant journey of learning, unlearning, and relearning, and the best pursuit of knowledge, according to her, should always work towards the goal of reimagining a world devoid of hatred and hierarchies. Outside the classroom, Mayna can be found practicing and performing Kathak — which she has been mastering since Grade 1, playing basketball, volunteering at social upliftment organizations, and curating her original blog that delves into the depths of psychology.
