About the Project

The conversation about a better and safer tomorrow can only become a reality if every inhabitant of this planet has healthy ecosystems where they can articulate and express themselves without inhibitions and fear of abjection. Founded in 2023, Q+ is rooted within the diversely rich genealogy of queer rights initiatives in India that works towards mitigating the deep-seated hierarchies and societal fissures that overshadow queer lives in the country. A multi-modal social advocacy project, Q+ hopes to work across multiple social spheres to alleviate the quality of the lives of queer folks and raise ample awareness and resources to foster safe environments for those in need. At the heart of the initiative lies empathy and a socially responsible ethical commitment that the project hopes to spread to more people across the borders and boundaries of India.
